Jo Mousselli, RN, President and Founder of Xtreme Lashes®, launches a national awareness campaign for breast cancer research and treatment through Passionately Pink for the Cure® to raise funds and support for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
“Many of our lash stylists have helped bridge the gap for cancer patients in remission. It’s amazing how a few little lashes can help boost a woman’s confidence. Losing your hair is like losing your identity, it’s a very difficult thing to go through. I’m proud of our stylists who donate or discount their lash extension services to breast cancer survivors and all those who are getting involved with Blink Pink™,” says Jo.
Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions do require a few existing natural lashes to adhere to – cancer patients currently undergoing chemotherapy cannot get lash extensions applied. After therapy, when hair growth resumes, adding a few lashes can help thicken the lash line, until all the lashes have fully grown back in.
As an eye-catching way to help promote awareness, Xtreme Lashes® is encouraging all of their consumers to Blink Pink™ by getting a few pink lashes or pink crystals on their next visit for lash extensions or re-lashes.
Jo has set up an Xtreme Lashes national team to contribute to and raise additional funds towards breast cancer research through the PassionatelyPink.org website.
Xtreme Lashes® Stylists can get involved by creating their own team on PassionatelyPink.org under the national Xtreme Lashes team to collect donations and raise awareness through their own salon or spa.
